In a nutshell, a plant caretaker is someone who will visit local businesses, offices, small mom and pop stores or your client’s homes and take care of their plants for a small fee.  If you love plants, you probably already have a good knowledge base of what each plant’s name is and how they grow and in what environment they can survive in.  You will need to know what plants can survive in shady areas or sunny areas.  You can research the internet and study the specific plants that thrive well in offices.  Here is an example of some plants that do well in doctor’s offices.  I did a search and typed in “hardy office plants.”  Here are a few:  Ficus Benjamina, Dracaenas, Aglaonema.  It’s important to learn their names and how to take care of them such as watering schedule, humidity and shade or sunny areas.  Most office plants do well in indirect sunlight areas.  (Read the rest of this post)
