There is not a person out there that wouldn’t like to find good paying work that is easy. Even better is to find that kind of job while also being able to work out of your own home. However, if you are extended an offer to fill envelopes from home be sure to decline the offer as soon as possible. This is a fraudulent offer that you will be lucky to make little if any money from and will leave you unsatisfied at best.
The reality of the situation is that the Federal Trade Commission has been cautioning people to avert these job offers completely. You are more likely to lose money than make any since these jobs require you to dispatch a sum ranging anywhere from $20-$40, supposedly to reimburse the cost of an information pack that will “show you how to make money”. At first glance, this information pack will be presented as totally free, and you will receive a main packet in the mail that maintains you must send money in order to get the job.
There are many valid methods for earning an income online. Unfortunately, stuffing envelopes doesn’t fit into that category. If you are considering a work from home opportunity there are some basic questions you need to ask before you begin: who is paying me, how will I be paid, is there a contract? If your potential employer asks you to send money before you can start working, then it’s probably a scam.
Always look into the history of the company before you begin thinking about one of these offers to make sure the company is legitimate. If you are worried about scams, consult with the Federal Trade Commission to check for complaints on a company. Most times, they will be able to advise you to the legitimacy of a particular opportunity. The Better Business Bureau is another good source for determining whether an offer is legit or not.
