The work at home job just doesn’t stop when it’s summertime and the kids are out of school. What would your business practice look like if you had this dilema each summer? Well for me, this is the process I go through and maybe it will help you.

I try very hard to work around my families schedule. I know it’s difficult but it seems to work for me. I get up very early each morning, except for Sundays and do most of my computer work before anyone else gets up out of bed. I have done this for many years now and it has become habit for me. I can get about 2 hours in of “me” time and believe it or not, I get a lot of work done this way.

For other people, it might be that you can work better in the evenings when everyone is in bed or when the kids are napping during the day. It is important to take time out of each day and plan to have some time alone to do your work so you can keep up.

I also keep a notebook of “daily things to do” and I also jot down how long that particular task might take. That little 20 cent notebook has been a lifesaver to me. So to recap, plan out your time on the computer accordingly along with your daily notes of things to accomplish and also enjoy the summertime with your family too!
A work at home job can be very fulfilling.
